BELLE Vue are set to return to full strength for their ROWE Motor Oil Premiership opener against defending champions Ipswich at the National Speedway Stadium on Monday (7.30pm).
Skipper Brady Kurtz and his regular race partner Norick Blodorn were both forced to sit out three-quarters of the ATPI Aces’ KO Cup campaign, as they missed the trip to Sheffield as well as home and away clashes with Leicester on Easter Monday.
Kurtz was laid low with illness whilst Blodorn was signed out after a heavy crash in Heat 1 on opening night, but both are now back in action.
It means the Aces track their full seven as the main business of 2026 gets underway against the Witches, who raced to their first league title since 1998 last October.
There have been several changes both on and off track for the Suffolk side over the winter, but they have started the season in strong form with home and away KO Cup wins over King’s Lynn.
Former Belle Vue rider Tom Brennan has taken over as No.1 whilst new signings include Polish international Tobiasz Musielak and the spectacular Swede Philip Hellstrom-Bangs who has impressed at the NSS when representing his country.
Monday’s line-ups have been declared as follows:
BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Peter Kildemand, Zach Cook, Dan Bewley, Tate Zischke, Will Cairns.
IPSWICH: Tom Brennan, Danny King, Richard Lawson, Scott Nicholls, Tobiasz Musielak, Philip Hellstrom-Bangs, Jason Edwards.
