BELLE VUE boss Mark Lemon is looking for his side to "find a bit extra" for a crucial month ahead.
The ATPI Aces face Birmingham in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership at the National Speedway Stadium on Monday night.
It's the penultimate regular league clash of the campaign with the Manchester side needing a win to keep up the pressure in the top four.
Lemon said: "We have a job to do and secure the points. Even though Birmingham have had a hard season, they really must not be underestimated.
"Every rider in their team has produced a strong performance at the National Speedway Stadium at some time. If they click together, it could be a very tricky night.
"Of course, any team with Matej Zagar is dangerous. We know what a fabulous rider he can be and I'm sure that he'll get a brilliant reception from the fans.
"It always comes down to the performance we produce. We definitely need to kick it up a level now.
"The next month is going to be very demanding. There's no doubt we need to find a bit extra if we are going to be successful.
"Like any other season, it will always be about finding that brilliant ride or performance when it really matters. That will make all the difference."
