BELLE VUE boss Mark Lemon believes his side will have the “firepower” to cover for the injured Brady Kurtz.
The ATPI Aces captain remains on the sidelines for the clash with Birmingham at the National Speedway Stadium on Thursday night.
Kurtz suffered a heavy crash in the Prague GP on Saturday and missed the fixture at Perry Barr on Monday.
Lemon said: “It’s obviously never ideal to lose someone of Brady’s calibre. He’s our captain and such a talisman.
“But naturally he needs time to be 100 per cent. It was a nasty incident in Prague.
“I believe we certainly have the firepower to cover for him at the National Speedway Stadium.
“The boys did a fabulous job when Dan (Bewley) had to pull out of the meeting with Oxford earlier this season.
“The job is all about the win and picking up the aggregate bonus point.
“This is a decent Brummies side. They have a great deal of talent. They’ve been dealt a lot of setbacks but there’s a great deal of character and experience.
“We know how Matej Zagar can galvanise a side and with Paco Castagna also in the team, they have real personality and determination. They will come here and give us a tough meeting.”
