THE FIM ATPI Speedway Grand Prix of Manchester is almost upon us, with a thrilling weekend of racing ahead this Friday (June 5) and Saturday (June 6).
Qualifying and the Sprint Race on Friday takes place from 2pm, with the GP meetings themselves at 7pm on both days.
A limited number of tickets remain available for the Friday meeting, and supporters are urged to purchase beforehand to avoid disappointment.
Below are several of the key arrangements for the weekend, with a reminder that everything you may need to know, including ticket and hospitality booking options, is available from https://sgpmanchester.com
CAR PARKING
For visitors wishing to attend the Sprint Race and Fanzone on Friday (June 5), we recommend the Park and Ride service which will run from 12:30pm until 5:45pm.
Please note, bookings must be made before Tuesday June 2.
For Saturday’s meeting, Park and Ride will operate from 3pm until 5:45pm.
Limited parking is available to purchase around the stadium at St Peter’s High School and The Co-op School on Kirkmanshulme Lane.
These car parks will only be open from 4:30pm on Friday - arriving early will result in your car being turned away. On Saturday June 6, they open at 2.30pm.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Nearest mainline train station: Manchester Piccadilly
Belle Vue Station: There is a station 0.6 miles from the stadium. Services run here between Manchester Piccadilly and New Mills Central and take approx. 6 minutes.

SPRINT RACE
Ticket holders for Round 3 on Friday June 5 are eligible to watch both Practice and the Sprint Race from the East Grandstand, but must register to gain entry.
All supporters who have purchased tickets for Friday will have received an e-mail with details of how to register.
Gates will open at 12.30pm ahead of a 2pm start (Sprint Race) with drinks and refreshments available. Capacity is capped at 1,500.
RACENIGHT OPENING
Turnstiles will open to ticket holders at 4:00pm on each day. Racing for both rounds will commence at 7pm. It is recommended to enter no later than 45 minutes prior to race start time.
TICKETS ON THE DAY?
Our box office will be open, accessible at the North Grandstand pedestrian entrance. If there are tickets still available then they will be on sale, however we encourage everyone to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
SECURITY
The safety and security of visitors attending the Manchester Speedway Grands Prix is of our highest priority. For that reason, please be patient and allow plenty of time to get into the stadium as bag searching and physical ticketing checks will be in operation. Our recommendation on bag size is the maximum of a small backpack no bigger than 29.7 cm x 21 cm x 20 cm (the size of A4 paper). To avoid delays and to ensure swift pass of security, please adhere to these maximum bag sizes.
FAN ZONE
The official fan zone will once again be at the National Speedway Stadium, behind the East grandstand.
It’s a chance to soak in the atmosphere and meet your favourite riders before racing begins. It’s open each day to fans who hold a ticket for the event.
The fan zone will be open between 3pm and 6pm for both events.
