BELLE Vue Speedway club was saddened to learn of the passing of former Clerk of the Course and programme editor Gareth Parry at the age of 71.
Gareth started his time with the Aces organisation back in 1982 under new promoter Stuart Bamforth as programme editor, a job he did until 1991 and again in 1994.
He took over as Clerk of the Course from the legendary Allan Morrey in 2005 before leaving the club in 2014.
In later years Gareth had moved to Thailand and there he sadly passed away after a series of health problems on Monday, January 13, 2025.
He will be sadly missed by all at Belle Vue and his army of Aces fans.
