BRADY BLOW FOR ACES

BELLE Vue have suffered a major blow ahead of their Knockout Cup trip to Sheffield tonight (Thursday).

Skipper Brady Kurtz was struggling with illness throughout Monday’s opener at the National Speedway Stadium, and he has now been ruled out of the trip to Owlerton as a result.

Under the regulations, a rider missing a meeting for medical reasons faces a mandatory seven-day suspension, meaning Kurtz will also miss the ATPI Aces’ Easter Monday double clash with Leicester.

Chris Harris has agreed to stand in as guest tonight at Sheffield, and news ahead of Monday will follow in due course.
