BEWLEY READY FOR COOL FOXHALL

BELLE VUE star Dan Bewley is looking forward to the “cool spot” of facing Ipswich.

ATPI Aces face a big clash at Foxhall Heath tonight in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership.

Bewley, 26, top scored in the disappointing defeat at Sheffield on Monday but remains calm with the play-offs looming next month.

He said: “I’m looking forward to Ipswich. We weren’t there too long ago. It’s quite a cool spot, I like it there.

“There’s always a good crowd, pretty different track, pretty technical.

“We’ve got a pretty young team. I feel like every meeting, even if the points don’t get better, they are learning and getting better.

“A few riders it’s just a matter of time before they click. I don’t know when that will be but we’ve all been through that type of thing.”

The ATPI Aces will have a full strength side at Foxhall Heath and will be aiming for an improved performance after going down by 20 points in South Yorkshire.

Bewley reflected: “A few of the boys didn’t get going. It’s always a tough track to come to Sheffield, the riders are pretty dialled in.

“You need to make some good starts. You obviously still have four laps.

“I actually enjoy it, it’s one of my favourite tracks in the country. It’s always pretty fun. But a tough night for the team.”
