BELLE Vue registered yet another dominant home display in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership on Monday as they swept aside Northampton 57-33.

That was despite the ATPI Aces being dealt a double injury blow over the weekend with both Jason Doyle and Peter Kildemand ruled out following crashes.

But their team-mates, along with the inspired guest choice of former Ace Ben Cook, made light work of the league’s newcomers as they continued their 100 per cent winning record at home this term.

Belle Vue got off to another strong start as Brady Kurtz and Norick Blodorn opened with a 5-1 before William Cairns and Tate Zischke followed up with a 4-2.

Niels-Kristian Iversen then became the visitors’ first race winner in Heat 3 before the Aces seized full control early on with a straight hat-trick of 5-1s to lead 27-9 with just six heats gone.

Zach Cook made it back-to-back race wins to lead a shared Heat 7 before youngster Cairns continued his unbeaten start against an opponent as he led a 4-2 with Blodorn in Heat 8.

Northampton captain Nicolai Klindt became just their second race victor in Heat 9 before a third Kurtz/Blodorn 5-1 of the contest saw the Aces establish their 24-point lead.

The visitors showed some resilience in the latter stages with former Belle Vue title winner Jaimon Lidsey winning successive heats before Klindt added a second himself on borrowed machinery.

That before Zach Cook won a sixth straight home Heat 14 in a row, whist Zischke battled hard to earn one last 5-1.

The result sees Belle Vue move seven points clear at the top of the table and team boss Mark Lemon was more than satisfied with his side’s night’s work once again.

“It was another really solid performance and you can’t ask for any more as a team manager,” Lemon said.

“Obviously not having Jason or PK could’ve been problematic, but I felt this team could cover Jason’s rides and that’s a pretty big statement to make.

“We’re just oozing confidence right now around this place and it’s a difficult place for any team to come.”

The Aces now prepare for two away fixtures next week at King’s Lynn on Monday (July 20, 7.30pm) and then Leicester on Thursday (July 23, 7.30pm).

There is racing at the National Speedway Stadium this coming weekend though, as the JR Ashworth & Sons Colts Academy Individual, plus a round of the British Youth Championships, takes place on Sunday (July 19) from 1pm.
